50th Anniversary Reunion

The 50th Reunion Committee is pleased to announce the following gala activities planned to celebrate our once in a lifetime BIG high school reunion in 2003. All activities will be in May in order to coincide with the St. Louis High School graduation ceremonies on May 24, 2003.

Golf Tournament
Waialae Country Club
Friday, May 23
Time: 9:00 AM
Cost is approximately $75.00 per person.
Dr. Earl Ah Moo will sponsor us and each foursome will include a WCC member.

Circle Island Bus Tour
Friday, May 23
Time: 9:00 AM
Cost is approximately $30.00 per person.
This all day tour in an air-conditioned coach includes lunch and soft drinks. Family members may participate.

Graduation Ceremony
Neal Blaisdell Center Arena
Saturday, May 24
Time: 2:30 PM
Each year, Saint Louis School invites the 50th Anniversary Class to share the stage with the current graduating class. We will each be called by name to the stage and be given a commemorative diploma (no blanks this time). We must give the names to Bob Takei, Executive Director, Alumni Services, beforehand, so please let us know if you will be here.


SLAA Sponsored Luau
St. Louis Alumni Association Clubhouse
Saturday, May 24
Time: 6:00 PM
The St. Louis Alumni Association hosts an annual luau for the 50th Reunion Class. Class members and their spouse/significant other are invited to attend. Entertainment will be our responsibility. A souvenir memento will be distributed. No cost for the luau, however, no host bar.


Memorial Service
Mystical Rose Chapel on the Saint Louis School campus

Time: 10:00 AM
We will have a remembrance ceremony for our departed brothers by reading their names, placement of a flower in a memorial vase, sharing of memories and prayers.


Buffet Lunch
Willows Restaurant

Time: 11:30 AM
Cost: approximately $35.00 per adult and $20.00 per child 4-10. Validated parking is $3.00.
We have reserved the Kapa’akea Room for a “Kama’aina Feast”. A private buffet will be set up in the room and will include four entrees, plus a carving station with Prime Rib. No host beverages. Families are invited to participate.


Inter-Island Cruise aboard the Norwegian Star
Sunday, May 25 to Sunday, June 1
Non-Stop Travel will be handling all arrangements for a seven day inter-island cruise. The ship leaves from the Aloha Tower at 8:00 PM on Sunday and goes to Hilo, Hawaii, Fanning Island, Kahului, Maui, and Kauai. Details are being mailed to you and more info will be available later for those who are interested.
